Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

As a leading tool manufacturer committed to excellence in quality, consistency, service, and value, we are currently in search of a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, requiring skills in welding, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

As a part of our Maintenance department, you'll collaborate closely with our Maintenance Team Members and report directly to our Maintenance Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyzing break-downs, identifying root cause of problems and making repairs on a variety of grinding equipment used on CNC machines
  • Read and review mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals
  • Execute planned and unexpected repairs of all building equipment
  • Demonstrate safety and quality standards when installing and repairing machinery
  • Record all maintenance activities using computerized maintenance software
  • Make steel fabrications utilizing measuring, cutting, bending and welding techniques
  • Operate personnel lifts and material handling equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • High School or GED
  • The ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns
  • Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to safely operate an array of machining equipment including forklifts, personal lifts, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals
  • Ability to operate machine tools to make or repair parts per close tolerance prints
  • Available to work full time (40 hours/week) on 3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday (10:00pm-6:30am), meeting attendance requirements

Salary info:
